The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-Second Edition (ADOS-2) is a standardized activity-based instrument for diagnosing autism spectrum disorders in children and adults. Trained clinician examiners utilize the standardized ADOS activities and questions depending on the observed individual’s age and communication level.
